THROUGH UI: At the very top there is a slider called See-Through. Play
with it if you want the UI transparent. This is useful while working with reference.

EXTRACT
This option lets you create geometry out of the existing
model you have. This works for creating cloth for example. Mask the area you
want to extract on your model and then click the extract button.
Subtool palette > extract
Smt button : smooth
Thick button : thickness
Double: creates an extract inside and outside the mesh.
MOVE TOPOLOGICAL BRUSH: Moves geometry only selected.
MOVE TOPOLOGICAL BRUSH: Moves geometry only selected.
Dynamesh
CTRL+ Right click + drag on the document - to get “more clay”
Geometry --> Dynamesh -> Resolution ( move the slider or touch it and type when the red box appears)
/ In Dynamesh look for BIG SHAPES, Proportions!!!
Turn on Backface Masking in the Brush pallete, Masking section if the mesh gets to thin and grabs the back side

Masking
CTRL
CTRL + click and drag on the document to clear the mask
Hold CTRL + press SPACE - to postion mask
CTRL + ALT - to erase mask
CTRL + tap on the mask - to blur it
CTRL + ALT +tap on the mask - to sharpen it
CTRL + tap on the document - to inverse masking
Smoothing
NORMAL SMOOTH: SHIFT + click
SMART SOOTH: SHIFT + start smoothing and then let go the Shift (more controllable)
Subtools
They are like the layers in photoshop. Subtools are the
different pieces that make up the whole model.
Navigation: Press “N” for subtool popup window.
Quick selection: ALT+Click over subtool.
ALT + click on a different subtool to switch
to delete a Tool, select the tool and click Delete All
"Clone" button clones the active subtool into a separate tool
You can also split masked parts by masking what you need to
split and pressing “split masked points” button

Subtool palette> split > split to parts.

1/ Mask area (*shirt) - Extract - adjust thickness - Accept
2.1/ Insert Sphere ( B + I + W )
2.2/ Split unmasked
Lights
/circle with an arrow on the top left - to drag and dock to right/left tray
/First click on the new light selects it ( white border), second click activates it(orange)
/For Rim light(put the light to behind), click on the dot on the sphere ( use a mouse)

1. Texture pallete- Import
2. Draw pallete- go to front/back
3. Map 1 - click on img you’ve dowloaded
/ Fill Mode- transparency

4.Adjust - to crop the img
5. Left/ right - to dowload the side view , select Map1, dowload img.
/ Project on mesh - projects the img on the mesh
/ Snap to mesh - resizes the img to match the size of mesh
